My SS13 Designer Wishlist

Okay, a few days ago I posted by high-street wishlist, and now, it's the turn of the almighty designers. Their catwalk trends amazed with this seasons new styles, but which ones, and who, made it into my wishlist. Check it out:

Michael Kors, Selma

This bag subtly screams elegance and business, with a hint of sexiness and chic. It shows other people that you know what is on trend, but you don't have to be so obvious when displaying it. Made with the highest quality leather, and the MK name embossed on the front, it's sure to make a beautiful addition to your work wardrobe.

Isabel Marant
Malone Crepe-Jacquard Blazer

Bold prints are once again back on trend. From catwalk to high street, it's virtually impossible to avoid them. And quite frankly, why would you want too? Yes, there are some hideous ones out there from designers of certain high-street stores but as a whole, prints are very flattering! This next entry into my wishlist is a Isabel Marant blazer. The deep burgundy colour contrasted against the pure white adds beautiful dimension and makes this a staple for your spring wardrobe. Pair with the matching printed trousers, or, for the more conservative side of you, a simple pair of effortlessly gorgeous white skinny trousers. Adore.

Karl Lagerfeld
Brigid Printed Silk Shirt

Karl Lagerfeld is notorious for his bold and fashion-breaking designs, and this shirt is no exception. It fits perfectly into my last item too, with it's bold print yet sophisticated style, you can bring summer into the office! This would look super cute tucked into a high waisted skirt, or, even more on trend, under a pair of ruggered cut-off 90's Levi Dungarees!

Sophie Hulme
Neon Woven Shorts

How cute are these?! Opposing to my other post regarding Neon, I really like these! They combine two of this seasons biggest trends - neon and print. The style and shape of them adds a feminine touch and will compliment any body figure. The bright orange may be a little bold for some people, but during summer, you can get away with it! Perfect for the summer and holidays!

Melissa Odabash
Sanela Embellished Jersey Maxi Dress

Maxi dresses have never really gone out of fashion. They are effortlessly chic and beautiful, the

silhouettes they create are flawless and they are just perfect for a romantic walk on the beach.

This one does all of that and much more. The gorgeous embellishment emphasizes the designer label that makes it yet contrasts against the simple and non-pretentious jersey fabric that is used.

Stella McCartney
Neon floral jacquard pencil skirt

I can't believe this is the second item in my SS13 wishlist that has used Neon! Maybe I should embrace the new trend? However, this skirt is just adorable. The simple and summery floral pattern that it uses is stunning.  Just like maxi dresses, pencil skirts seem to be all over the catwalks and high-street brands which is brilliant for the business woman side of you. Wear this into work and your colleagues will know you are a force to be reckoned with!

Charlotte Olympia

Love Me heart-appliqu├ęd suede pumps

I know Valentines Day has been and gone but I couldn't resist including these on my wishlist. Besides, love shouldn't just be for one day of the year! And with these on my feet, I will be in love all the time. The flat visible platform and delicate heel makes a change from the chunky, grunge look that is so visible at the minute (mind you, I do own a pair of sky-high shoe boots!). The bright red will never go out of style, and make sure your lips match yours shoes! Pair with a LBD for a night out look, or a beautiful summer dress for the next wedding.

Crochet-knit bandeau bikini

I couldn't write a SS wishlist and not include a piece of swimwear. I particularly love this Missoni bikini. The bold print is effortlessly cool whilst the s blend-able colours tame it down a little. Imagine walking down the beach with a kimono and hat, a pair of vintage Chanel sunglasses - so chic!

And there we have it!
Let me know items that are on your wishlist!

Lots of love,
Katie x
