Claire Maley is a Milton Keynes based fashion designer, who, if you read Aim Above Limits regularly, you would have seen featured in the past. I adore her work ethic, unusually brilliant pieces and her approach to designing. Her innovative and creative collections push boundaries with the use of quirky fabrics and patterns, and this allows Maley to be ahead of the fashion game, and it will not be long until we see her collaborating with bigger fashion labels, in my opinion. For her latest venture, she has teamed up with Australian charity, Karma Cats.
The collection consists of boxy tees, printed dresses and perfect swimsuits - the kind that will turn heads this summer. All the pieces use work by animal photographer, and Karma Cats charity photographer, Steph Lauren.
The collaboration came about when Karma Cats founders wanted to raise large scale funds in order to reduce poaching within Sumatra, by heightening anti-poaching patrols.
Every dress is hand sewn and printed by Maley, thus promoting the work of British designers. Moreover, all pieces come with a unique reference number and authentication documentation.

11% of each purchase goes towards the charity and their efforts to decrease poaching of these wonderful animals. To be able to combine charity and fashion is no mean feat, but Claire Maley and Karma Cats have pulled it off wonderfully. Guilt free shopping? Who could say no?
